Filled with lamb, lettuce, tomato, cheese, hummus, onion and mayo, the ‘Doner Kebab Special’ for $10.80 made for a great lunch. Juicy meat, fresh salads, toasty, crisp flat bread, quick preparation, kebab served nice and hot – ticked all the boxes. The service, too, was good.
We sat out the front of the shop. The outside dining space, despite the hot weather, was pleasantly cool and breezy. It’s a nice lunch spot, that’s for sure. Compared to their William Street store, the Riverton branch is newer. It’s also a lot more inviting and it looks cleaner. This branch would be the one I’d go back to in any case.
Taste verdict This was such a tasty lunch. I’ll have to try their other options. Folks dining near us were having some good-looking loaded fries – never a bad excuse to swing by.
