Mojo’s Burger and Salt & Pepper Fried Squid at Mojo’s Restaurant, Bunbury

I perused the menu and decided to go for the burger this place had the confidence to put its name to: Mojo’s Burger a ‘local beef patty, lettuce, cucumber, aioli, pickled cucumber’ with a side of ‘hand cut chips’ for $22.  The phrase ‘hand cut chips’ caught my attention. New York Cheeseburger at East Village, 140 William Street

A quick lunch on a Tuesday afternoon was had. At $9 (on special), this was a decent feed. East Village has the mix right for the office casual feed. The burger tasted like one the gourmet fastfood ones: juicy enough, fancy brioche style bread, a few bits of veg. The burger came almost sans sauce.
